This is a song for a tooth that is dying.
For a dentist whose prowess I am about to question.
For an insurance company whose mix-up may mean that they won’t pay.
For an appointment I don’t want to keep, but am afraid not to.
These are the tears from a heart that is selfish,
Wanting faces and smiles and prayers that seem so long gone.
Wanting miracles for ridiculous things like teeth and pay checks.
Wanting a house that is clean and a schedule that’s predictable.
This is a prayer for a world that is hurting.
For families torn, for children adrift.
For hearts that are hard, for heads turned from Truth.
For all of the broken things that cannot be fixed.
This is a hope, a choice to look upward.
To think of the good things, the blessings we’ve got.
For memories warm, for homes that are comfortable,
And Heaven that’s waiting when all this is done.
This is a thank you for praying, caring friends.
Thank heavens I was FINALLY able to post a comment on your page! It always gives me so much trouble when I try to look at it, so much that I usually have to CTRL +ALT +DELETE… but I am here now and commenting on the beautiful poem. I received the highest compliment the other day when someone told me my writing reminded them of how you write. Who du thunk? I dont agree… but count it as another credit to your amazing, God-given writing abilities. Love you!
Are you in pain now? I hope all works out for you. Lovely prayer looking beyond your self.
RTC the “recipe” on my site. Thank you for your late night reply. I am so hoping your issues with your tooth are resolved. The tooth is bad enough, but finding that you have arthritis is not good π¦ But the recipe sounds so simple! I love it when MD’s give out home remedies like that. It is certainly worth a try and what is in all of these meds we are given anyway? Wemight be surprised to see familiar things in them sometimes! This certainly sounds benign. My cute little teeny tiny Dr. Wool, also, gives out remedy recommendation using vitamins etc. He told me to take red rice yeast to help lower my cholesterol. It didn’t work for me(I think I have issues (?) with my liver driving up my cholesterol ) but my friend with high cholesterol who I told to try it had her numbers dropped 30 points!!!!! Well I am off to mix up the “recipe”! (Wasn’t there a t.v. show where some elderly women were always using that word for a little moonshine? The Waltons?)
Should the Revenuers be alerted to this?
Lucy LOL Unless you let her “recipe” sit and age for a few months, I don’t think the law should worry about this recipe!
Oh, I have absolute confidence that Rachel will do simply superb! π The work will be no problem as long as she actually does it and doesnt dawdle too much π She (or you) has nothing to worry about. When will she be able to drive? That could be a slight problem, but we’ll see. She will have to learn to hold her own in conversation, as Joe and Sally are pretty lively sometimes π well, i have a bazillion pages to read π (actually, its right around a thousand.), Love you!
Hello there! Yes, your sis and I had a great time scrapbooking!! I was doing last year’s G.M.S. chorale tour and she was doing Carman’s 2nd birthday – (just had to rub it in Alma:) We do have so much fun when we are working together on it – wish we had more days for it! I have been getting on your site much better for some reason. Good luck with the tooth! Sonya had one cut out yesterday…cheaper than braces I say!
Dr. is back in toRYC about my tests…. See my site comment. (I never know where to reply to comments!!!) I hope your tooth situation is better. Have you started your recipe?
Ryc: I’ll update you on news from here later. Appreciate your prayers and concern. Today I have a tight schedule so less time to spend on Xanga until later. Yikes dental work is sure no fun! TTYL
I can’t find my comment anywhere! It went “Poof”! It is not on my site as I thought.
I found it! It is on my site. I forget that you have to restart your site in order to see what was added! Is it that way for you all?
