W-Quanson Cherry Tree-2

This is our side yard — with our Kwansan Cherry Tree in full bloom.  It looks better in full sun, but the evening shadows were moving in when I took this picture.  (Youngest Son, some of these pictures are especially for you — these flowers will be gone when you and your team come home in two weeks.)  OOPS!!! that would be three weeks.  (“Don’t rush me, you’ll cause me to fall!”)

These are our three daughters,  (Blueberryeyes, Jesses_girl and Piecesofrainbows) getting ready to go out to supper at the new Appleby’s that just opened in Milford.  Beloved Son in Law was working late, so they decided to go without him.  Eldest Son decided to join them after they left, or I might have gotten a picture of him on here, too.  (Sorry ’bout that, Stayingfocused — maybe next time I can catch him.)

  1. I think I need a tree like that.  It is gorgeous.

  2. RTYC……..Janette and her Dad  went out to dinner. a tradition my man does when our daughters turn 18. He wants that first date…..smile……~ Nancy

  3. The tree is gorgeous! It’s so much fun seeing all the different places of my Xanga friends! When do you suppose Lucy_or_Ethel will post pics of the packages??

  4. I was laughing to myself when I realized you posted a comment somewhere under your daughter’s xanga name.  I had just thought how much that daugher writes like her mother, then I read the second comment! 🙂  It is so much fun to see pictures of your place.  Now that I have lived in this city almost 14 years I have come to a truer apprecation of the beauty of nature.  Maybe it’s not just the city.  Maybe it’s also the growing into adulthood that fosters that appreciation!  Anyway, I truely love getting away into the country occasionally.  Thanks for sharing those.  I’m on my way out to plant some nature that my Mom brought along with her last time – a couple of Nandinas and a cantony astor (which I can’t spell properly).

  5. I do think I tend to be more of a plodder myself or at least compared to my sister in law. She has the most efficient motions, and with seemingly little effort she can get huge amounts of things done, and then she is able to take some time for herself to read a book, etc., and I am left wondering what in the world am I doing wrong that I can’t be as productive as she is! I don’t let it really bother me too much anymore, though. Would you like to have a Lilies catalog sent to you? If you wish, then email me your mailing address and I will have them send one to you! If you do order anything, be sure to mention me, it would be so much fun to sew a dress for you! (can you see that I have been learning things about bold and italics?)

  6. Hey mom it looks awesome. I miss it. DE is so awesome in the spring..oh well. Funny how three weeks seems so long even in the light of five months. The tree is awesome…the ladies look good…i would LOVE to try out the new applebee’s. i’m going to one tonight. Love yah-Lem

  8. take the egg off  your face my friend, I can also read somethings and I totally don’t  get it. I love that tree. I always imagine my home in heaven to have lots of flowering spring trees around it. when are Lem and his team coming to De. ?  have a great day . ~ Nancy

  9. Mary Ann I’m trying the ctrl and b button and I just cant get a bold scrip. Could it be something wrong with the lap-top?

  10. Polly, that is what I was thinking about BEG.  She needs to take a picture of herself, too!  Absolutely!  (She’s going to be sorry she gave us that computer keyboard  lesson, isn’t she.)

  11. BEG, your daughters are beautiful inside and out!  So is your lovely tree.

  12. Pretty tree … gorgeous girlies!!!

  13. I just didn’t want to be as bold as the others, but I, too, would like to see a picture of you! Were you in any of Polly’s family pictures from Easter?

  14. Yepper, that was me, at the far end of the table, sitting by my Certain Man — but you can’t see me very well.  CM has a beard. — oh, well, I will just post one of the two of us…
