I am so perplexed, Lucy of Iowa — It seems that there is a shirt being passed around out there that is similar to one I have here. Didn’t you say that this was one of a kind? I found it a couple weeks ago, and there has been so much going on that I didn’t get to post pictures of it until now. Is this a “Sister” shirt, or what? It truly won its way to my house because of the similarity between it and the one in the pictures you have posted. (I am not usually a “buyer of t-shirts” at Salvation Army, Milford.) This one has to be from the same manufacturer. I included a close-up of the tag. I’m not sure how clear it is, but maybe you can decipher if it is the same one. By the way, did you ever send yours back to Dominie??? Or are you still hoarding it for your own comfort?

Actually, probably it is the terrible rain that we are having in Delaware or maybe the Heffalumps. I’m quite sure that it couldn’t be computer operator dysfunction. Could it?
Wow! Comparing it to the one Dominie’s grandaughter is wearing it looks like the same one! You know, there were rumors of Dominie’s shirt having something to do with Xanga…could this by any chance be the very same one and not one that just looks like hers?
Ohhhhh the plot thickens! I am intruiged! Do we need Nancy Drew, or yet the infamous Hardy Boys???? =D
HEY! Are you sure that isn’t MINE? I have a feeling Lucy has an accomplice in this mystery besides Miss Brooks. Did my shirt actually travel to DE? Did Lucy and Miss Brooks give it to S.A. and you just happened to find it? Now that would be TOO small of a world. Just happening to be in Iowa at the same time as your son is coincident enough for the law of probability. WAIT! Maybe your son is involved!
Really, I think I have this all figured out. You found this shirt that looks like mine and was made by the same co. and you were going to post it before I got my shirt back from Lucy making me think you actually had my shirt. But judging from your schedule these past weeks you were not able to, thus Lucy’s conspiracy was foiled. There is one detail that has me confused, however. The label on the my shirt is the same and it always stands up like the one you pictured. Hmmmmm… When I got my shirt back it had a pin in it holding down that label down as if Lucy wanted it to be down for picture taking. I think it is time for turue confessions!
Strange, isn’t it that the one to whom this was directed has not commented? Lucy, what do you think?

I just took another look at that M.M. shirt. I had to dig it out of the laundry basket because my granddaughter had worn it when she was here. But, I am positive that the shirt you are showing, BEG, is mine!!!! The label has the same little fraying threads in exactly the same place, so….. Where are you Lucy? You surely must admit that I have shrewdly unravelled(no pun intended) the mystery! And, BEG, you so shrewdly worded your post so that you were not being dishonest, but perhaps a little misleading????
Thanks for the comment. I am no special person. Don’t let that next comment decieve you. That is my sister-in-law, and she is great, but she does not know everything. The children in my church are not scared of me. I love children and these children are great. I have been doing this candy for a song for a long time, 10 or 15 years, I don’t know. We have four children of our own. Zonya is married and lives in NYC and is a LPN. Angela went to be with Jesus in 1979 when she was 19 months old. Albert Jr. is 26 and has his own business and lives with us. Joy, 24, is working towards get her RN degree. She is also an airplane pilot. She also lives with us. My wife, Katie, and I live on a farm and also have a bakery in our 3 car garage. We take our products to the Des Moines Farmer’s Market. I did not lose my voice when I was a child. It was in high school in speech class. I am shy by nature and I was petrified to get up in front of people and my voice box muscles tightened up to where most times I can only whisper. It is a common problem with those of us who have dystonia. But I get along. Most times it is best if I don’t say anything anyway.
I have read your posts in the past but could not figure out who you are. I know one of your Iowa friends, Ethel or Lucy. Nancy is her real name. They are all the same person. She is from Leon, IA. Our farm is 5 miles south of Leon. I did get a few clues this time. Someone gave your name initials as M.A.Y. Would that be Yoder? You are from Deleware and go to Laws Mennonite Church. One of your Bible School pictures shows a young man by the name of Joel. I know him. Joel Bontrager. He went to SMBI the same time as my daughter Joy. He knows Joy. I think he knows me. Does he attend your church? But I still don’t know who you are. My genealogy program is on the blink or I could probably figure it out. I might have to know your husbands or your parents names. It does not really matter as long as we all are part of God’s family.
I take lots of pictures and have some shots of our trails. I will post some of them on my site when I have time.

I’ve finally figured out who owns this site too, now that you and my Dad have been back and forth. Um…do you know how long it probably took him to type that comment to you ???? A long time. Anyway…yeah, my dad is an awesome guy. He’s taught me so much. Have you ever read the book “The Power of the Powerless” by Christopher De Vinck. Great book. He talks his younger brother, who was severely brain damaged, and and he changed the lives of many people. A worthwhile read.
Now Lucy wants you to dish out the dirt. This M.M. has become the object of all kinds of deceit and great poetic efforts! Where else can he be?
I am younger than Lucy, as is HIM, and we were innocently drawn into this fracas. I think Lucy should explain everything.

Also Dear BEG who contacted HIM about this 1st me or you..then she took it and ran with it …………HIM and her daughter went to heroic efforts to be a part of this……….I think we are co-partners equally guilty of having fun,causing laughs and having a grand time…….what do you think ? Partners? Co-conspiritors? Guilt by association?
I think on Aunt Bea’s site, Dominie is saying that she would like to have a picture with all of us wearing our MM shirts and she is wondering how Lucy will work it out. How are ya gonna do it, Lucy? Huh? Just remember that we at this household were the youngest partners, and were rather easily swayed.
