Rachel and the toe 2
( EDIT: This picture isn’t as clear as the one I first posted, but I like it better in more ways than one!!!)

She recovered from her allergenic reaction (though she was sure she wouldn’t).

And she went to New York City with Middle Daughter on days that set records for heat.

And they had a wonderful time.

The Lady’s toe is three feet long and one and a half feet high.  Quite impressive, isn’t it?

(I wonder what she will think up next to worry about!!!)

  1. Nice picture with your daughter now. it is a big feet now.

  2. Good morning! It is good to know the allergic reaction has passed, she looks fully recovered. Looks like you foks have been having a nice time with church family, I enjoy your pictures and am seeing some faces I recall seeing before. The church basement repair is taking longer than expected ? Looks like Eldest son’s hair is growing a little, am I right ?

  3. I’m glad the heat wave didn’t keep your daughters from having a good time and from settling the “size” issue. Maybe yougest daughter will be a teacher some day and inspire her students to seek answers for their curious questions! I like that picture on your previous post of the proud GRANDMA and her precious FIRST GRANDCHILD! The PROUD  DADDY  tried to get me to agree with him that she is the cutest baby ever and I just couldn’t  because I have some of the cutest grandchildren myself.

  4. I mean youngest–misspelling does bug me and I even proof read it and didn’t catch it.

  5. That is a big toe!! So glad they enjoyed their trip to NYC and that Rachel’s rash is all better.

  6. Would you tell me what statue your daughter is posing by? Is it a replica of Miss Liberty? Inquiring minds want to know.

  7. From the time Rachel was a small girl, she has wondered how big the Statue of Liberty’s big toe is.  I went online, I searched almost everywhere I knew to look, and was unsuccessful.  Well, when she went to New York last week with her sister, they went to the Statue of Liberty and there is a museum inside with replicas of various parts.  The picture was taken in the museum where there is a serious study of the feet of the statue, (including mention of her hammer toe and analysis of various “deformities).  So Rachel got her data, and she was pleased beyond measure.

  8. I have been wondering about Rachel’s rash.  Do you have any idea what she needs to avoid?

  9. The rash remains a mystery.  It disappeared as quietly as it came.  I hate not knowing, but the doctor says that approximately 90% of face rashes are never really diagnosed.  (For my part, I think that 96% of all statistics are made up on the spot!)

  10. BEG, 92.2% of the people would agree with you that 96% of all statistics are made up on the spot.(we a .5% margin of error)
