  1. It sure is far away, honey, and it looks like he could go mountain climbing, for one thing.

  2. Do you know who all will be on his team yet?  How about plans for parent orientation?  We are not sure what we will do.   Are you all planning on taking him out to the SEND house?  I’ll give you a call.

  3. my dear mary ann, i really must admit that i’m excited to pieces that Raph is following through with REACH….my prayers have been that he would go.  i highly recomend it!  and my prayers have included your whole family, too.  I know that it is difficult especially with both your boys making plans to go away, but i am excited for your boys πŸ™‚  their lives are changed forever, and much for the good.  love and prayers, Kanina

  4. Learn to plant?  Seeds of truth that will grow into more souls for the Master’s bouquet.
Thank you for unselfishly checking on me this morning.  We need each other.  Love and blessings.

  5. Hi Mary Ann, As I was reading your post, this lovely song began, “Safe in the Arms of Jesus,” and I thought, how appropriate.  An answer to your question.  It is awfully far away, but he will be safe in the arms of Jesus.  Ruth

  9. I’m sure it will be a challenging, stretching experience for him. I’m glad he has chosen to go and that he has been accepted. I’m sure God will use his talents and gifts to further His kingdom. Just think how your “borders” will be enlarged. God is good–all the time!

  10. I was told once…. that our children will take us places we never even dreamt about. they are in our hearts and where they go, it becomes part of us.Looks interesting !!

  11. Oh wow! What an experience.  He wouldn’t try mountain climbing would he? Would he? Maybe there are some things Mother’s do not need to know.

  12. I want to say Hello to you now. Hope you have a great week now. GOD BLESS YOU ALL FOREVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  13. I understand that Nepal has only a small sprinkling of Believers.  Wow!  What a challenging assignment for Oldest Son….Nepal will never be the same, and I’m SURE he won’t be!

I am so happy for Raph!!! Reach is one of the places tha t you learn a lot about Gods will for our lives. I am so glad that he is going through with this I prayed really hard for both of your boys that they would go into reach.  Nepal is a country that is ripe for Gods harvest, Raph will never be the same guy that he is now God has big things planed for that team. I know the team leaders and you need not worry he is in good hands and even better ones by following Gods will for him to be in Nepal. I know that this time is not easy for you , know that you are in my prayers as well.  Normie

  16. Our thoughts and prayers are with you, as well as for Raph!

  17. Sometimes we mothers need to simply remember that they are first of all God’s children. We want to hold them near, but He has other plans. He is good.
