We saw some wild rhinos and we got to swim with the elephants. we rode them down to the river and went swimming with them. it was one of the best things about the vacation.

  4. Humm, I’m jealous.  Swimming with elephants would be something I’d love to do, definitly!  I’m glad you heard from him.   See ya Thursday?

  5. wow… riding elephants down a river… what a great experience.  thanks for sharing

  6. Awww sounds like all is well there with Raph and I agree with April that looks fun.. I gotta get caught up in my study …not sure I will be there or not, taking one day at a time, depends what we have going, if anything Thursday….
Trying to work on some cleaning today, a possiblity of Sean’s sister and her family coming up the end of March for their Spring break, and then maybe my mom will be here the beginning of April for her Spring break…

  7. Yeah Raph!  sounds like alot of fun.  and a nice break to relax.  i was recently talking to my team leader from reach and we were talking about how vacation was the most memorable thing that we did….maybe because it was different from our typical routine.  Anyway, thanks for sharing the pictures and update on Raph, and for the reminder to pray for him and his teammates and their ministry.

  8. What a great time he’s having! And how are things on the home front, my dear? Any time for “normal” life these days? I hope so. You deserve it.

  9. I’m catching up on some Xanga reading this morning and what a treat hearing about Raph.  I loved the pic of him riding on that animal.   That is some mode of transportation!
Life is getting out of hand for me.   This week is a whirl wind.  I’m saying no to sewing circle and I’m saying no to Bible Study and I still wonder if I’ll get it all done.      Next week Mark and I fly out to Arizona for Ministers Fellowship. Then when we get home Israels will be here and I have one day to pack up and Jessica, Summer, Grant , Queena and I will be driving down to Va. to our “Sewing Retreat at HighLand”.  I can’t wait!       This week was set aside to get all my sewing projects ready.  Well I forgot to put on my calendar that Fri and Sat. we need to be in Bethany Beach at a Elders Retreat.  and then Sunday we go to Chesapeake for the day.
Sometimes I think a retreat would be to STAY AT HOME with no responsibilities.   Whew.  Does it sound like I’m complaining?   I love life but just not this busy.
