It is almost 11:30, but I wanted to show you that I am mostly done with my study!  I have the counter to do — and it will wait until Monday, but I am pleased as I can be with what is finished.  Thanks for the encouragement, and especially for those of you who prayed for me.  I could never have made it without the prayers!

Eleven fifteen Saturday night

Yes, what you are seeing is a baby’s dressing table.  I thought that it fit into this liitle nook quite nicely.  It is the one that Daniel made years and years ago for our first foster baby (In 1975) and it has been a part of our home ever since.  More often than not it is a “collecting place” for left behind possessions, but maybe if it is in here, that won’t happen as quickly.

Whew!  Am I tired!!!

Methinks I’m gonna’ go to bed!

G’night all . . .

  1. Well, how cute is that? I thought you were going to tell us you were cleaning out the study to get ready for the next foster baby. Just kidding!! So happy for you with all you’ve accomplished. After I get something like that cleaned up I just like to stand and look at it a lot. It’s such a wonderful feeling.

  2. Wow!!  It looks awsome and I’m sure it feels even better to you!  Good job!

  3. Well done, it looks so nice. Do you make housecalls? Bring your sweet little helper and we can dig in to my “pilot room”. That dressing table is quite a keepsake and treasure. Isn’t that feeling of accomplishment a grand feeling!

  4. I like jrtjs1950’s idea! that would be sooooo cool! it looks very lovely… now you can sit in there and just look and look and enjoy it.

  8. Today I met my cousin’s son’s wife at a reunion. She was Alma Barnhart from Dover, DE and is married to Dale Charles. Dale’s grandmother Shelly and my mom were sisters. Dale and Alma moved this year from NYC to PA and they knew your dad as overseer of their church in NYC. Alma wondered how I knew you and I told her the tale.
