Went to Salisbury with Daddy and Mama on Monday.  Good news for the most part, thank God!

Went to Lancaster with good friends on Tuesday.  Good times for the whole part.

Went to Dover with Mama on Wednesday.  Good being together, good lunch at Bob Evans.

Had Bible Study on Thursday Morning.  Great chatty bunch of gals — great lesson on “Hope in the hopeless situations of our lives.”  Wonderful Babysitters — Ivy and Aubrey, wonderful little ones (with some shoving and tears.)

Fetched Lynne Lee from the car shop around noon and went to lunch at the Diner.  Good New England Clam Chowder, good Milford Side Salad, good conversation, some tears, some shared sorrow, some shared laughter.  Stopped by to see her Mother who is not feeling very well.  More good conversation.

Worked on Calendar pages Friday morning for the Yutzy Family Calendar.  Almost done.  Haven’t begun to put the Yoder one together yet.  Sigh.  Love it when it’s done, but the process can be challenging.

Looking forward to the weekend.  How sweet life is!

  1. Visited with your Mama yesterday for a short while and was so tickled to hear that your Daddy’s “optimistic” doctor is helping him feel better.  She said he came home and sat in his chair evening before last and said, “It’s so nice to feel useful again.”  What a special blessing !!!

  2. Sounds like you had a blessed week!  So happy!!!

  3. Thanks for your note.  I was wondering around in the zanga world and found some of your quilting friends as well.  It sounds like you ladies are quite gifted.  When the team was here for dinner the other night, we had a great time getting to know the bunch and see them interact.  Jeremy and Sarah have been and continue to be very postive about their team.  I haven’t heard from them since they left here. We have enough room in the house that they could all stay here without any inconvience.  Hope to hear from you soon.

  4. Hi!  Thanks for saying hello!  Yes, Rosedale was a long time ago :~).  Your son, Lem, is in Phoenix? I didn’t realize that Joye’s son and wife are in Phoenix also… with Jewel Swantz from this area?  She’s a good friend of our daughter.  I enjoyed reading your posts. We have 4 children – 2 daughters got married this summer within 1 1/2 months of each other :~).  Our son, Kurt, is in Albuquerque and son, Grant, in Ohio. I taught school for 10 years at our local Christian school, but now am just filling in here and there and having lots of variety and fun. With xanga, we can stay in touch!

  5. It sounds like you had a great week ~ sharing with some special people.  I have really appreciated Lynn ( we attend the same Bible study).  She is such a sweet person- has alot of insight and is not afraid to share.  She has been a blessing to me!
